Artist

I make original prints on paper and textiles; and artists' books. My practice centres on home which is the place where I have the silence and solitude I need to make art and survive in the world. Home is also the literal and figurative space where my work is born. All my work connects to text in some way to reflect my lived experience of the calm spaces that books and libraries are for my neurodivergent brain. I make extensive use of blue to reflect the calm I find when in water.

I am an active member of The Printing Girls who have been invaluable in my self-directed arts education. I have participated in group exhibitions at David Krut Projects, Gallery 2, White River Gallery, The Association of Arts Pretoria, The Art Room and Stilbaai Gallery.
